  • About Me

    Chun-Shin is an expert on Asian American counseling, Asian-mixed race marriage, inter-generational conflicts, integration of religion/spirituality and counseling, relational trauma, and community trauma. She has presented in regional and national conferences about Korean American generational studies on psychological well-being and religion/spirituality, resilience on Asian women married to White men after the relational trauma, racial trauma and its impact on the community, and resilience process following in disasters in international contexts. She was also a guest speaker on counseling Asian Pacific Islanders, parenting classes, and building a safe church against sexual violence. She taught in a CACREP accredited doctoral and masters’ programs and currently teaches as an adjunct professor and has a private practice, specialized in relational trauma and Asian-mixed interracial couples and their children.

M-ASS : Making Asian Sexuality Simple

When : Every First Tue of the month (except July, August, & December)

Time: 7:00 pm to 8:30pm (online)

Price: $50 per meeting

Format: This is an ongoing open group. Minimum 4 people to have a group.

What: As an Asian sex therapist, I am constantly struck by the urgent need within our community to break the silence around Asian sexual development, experiences, expressions, and desire. It’s time to challenge the status quo and reject the narrow definition of “healthy” sexuality imposed by our sexualized culture. This group is a safe space for those grappling with sexual orientation, gender exploration, desires, and all aspects of their sexual identity. Let’s reclaim and celebrate Asian sexuality!
